Winter Dawn
I step out into the cold darkness
Shivers every bone in me
As I trot down the road
Something starts anew
With a stephen speak's on my lips
My feet break into a jog
My dog picks up my cue
My eyes flit after every bird
By now my breath pistons in and out
A gallon of cold air
With the hint of something light,
I now take a u-turn
Into a brand new dawn
